I'm actually using ubuntu with a different wm, ratpoison.  The sleep
button doesn't work, but it does if I run `gnome-power-preferences`.  Is
there a way to trigger those power settings on when my wm starts without
opening the the preferences menu?  Or is there a better solution for
that?
