Just tested this with 10.04 RC LiveCD. I got the exact same behavior. I don't have the disk space to do a full install to test it, but I'm guessing if the bug was fixed it would work off the LiveCD as well. Also, because it was a LiveCD I can't get any debug data on reboot. Sorry I couldn't provide more info. I'm disappointed, was hoping I could migrate up from 9.04 with this release.
