Hi, Jeffrey, this problem was related to the kernel of the release version of Ubuntu 9.10, once I downloaded the next kernel version and installed it, problem was solved. I will mark it as solved and add a download link to the latest kernel version.

Install the files in the following order: 1. linux-headers-2.6.32-020632_2.6.32-020632_all.deb 2.
