Does anyone have a launchpad bug on this issue that can dupe it to this bug? The logs attached to this bug are not for this particular GPU generation and are useless to try to help figure out the problem. Rafael, can you file a bug against xserver-xorg-video-ati with "ubuntu- bug xserver-xorg-video-ati" and dupe it to this one if not? The xorg log info on the fdo bug is helpful but we'd need to see your dmesg also at least.
