Yes I would like gnugo in main. It needs no notable dependencies, has had no security issues and includes a large regression testsuite. The testsuite is not part of the package build process currently but could be easily added.
I don't want to drop gnugo from a recommends to a suggests, running the programme just gives a message to install gnugo. We could drop kigo from the kdegames meta-package which would stop it needing to be in main.
