I have changed the printer driver to Generic PCL 5e Printer
Foomatic/ljet4d instead, and the print speeds have jumped up
dramatically (as in instant again). Unfortunately, this isn't the
driver used by default for this printer... I would suggest it might be
best to change the defaults until the current default driver (the
plxmono one) is fixed?
