Yes I reset it to Normal but then it goes back to None after I reboot. On Normal it is OK. I am using the current Nvidia driver 195.36.15 and I have a GeForce 8400GS. When I set the Visual Effects to Normal it takes a minute and looks for appropriate drivers and then asks me to confirm the setting. Even though I confirm the setting it goes back when I reboot or logoff.
