** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox Hey :) sorry for posting yet another flash related problem - there seem to be so many of them, but this seems to be a bit different and I hope it is not a direct duplicate. Starting firefox after updating my 9.10 Ubuntu 64bit to 10.04RC results in the following error. LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /home/.../.mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so [/home/.../.mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32] LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so [/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32] Attempting to load the system libmoon Segmentation fault If i start a new firefox-profile, firefox will start but crash as soon as i click on a flash clip etc. as all my bookmarks, addons, passwords are stored in firefox it would be great to have it running again (even without flash). if this helps, opera and flash work without issues. thanks! + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + EcryptfsInUse: Yes + FirefoxPackages: + firefox 3.6.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 + firefox-gnome-support N/A + firefox-branding 3.6.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 + abroswer N/A + abrowser-branding N/A + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) + NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia + Package: firefox 3.6.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcEnviron: + LANG=en_US.utf8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 + Tags: lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic x86_64 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/45143270/Dependencies.txt -- 10.04 RC 64bit: firefox does not start due to flash problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568812 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
