Since 1.1.17 is the current package for Ubuntu and all projects derived
from it, I don't think it should be removed, but the 2.0.x series of
released could be offered as well through the packaging system as an
optional testing package in unsupported or unofficially supported
status.

This would still allow 1.1.17 to be the official Ubuntu release, but
allow users the option to try out 2.0.4 without official support.

Does anyone know what security issues were fixed between 1.1.17 and
2.0.4?
