I have found and posted a work around for this issue therefore I had no pressing need to pursue this issue for now. Since I run a RAID 0 configuration on my computer (or for whatever other reason), every crash means a _manual_ file system check :( so I tried to avoid running too many experiments (hate to lose my data). > Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? Please let us know your results.
