The trouble, then, is Ubuntu generating a crash mail when in fact, the system was merely not behaving as per (in this case- for this system, anyway) the chosen kernel parameters.
I'd recommend closing the original report (the system works fine) but sending it upstream for a more rational behavior if a system (a common one- an HP Mini) takes longer to wake up. I'm not the only one getting these.
