Binary package hint: cups
Simple to reproduce:
1) plug in HL-2170W
2) install default printer driver
3) try to print pdf or ps file using Document Viewer
4) Says "Spooling 2%" for many minutes, no print out.
I changed the driver to Brother HL-2060 Foomatic/ljet4 and it prints the
PDF or ps file no problem.
