Thanks Jeremy - I am in fact so happy with the beta release of 10.04 that I have installed it and has been using it for a while. Sound and resolution all worked fine! From time to time, the screen "regress" to a lower resolution, but I did a Alt-PrtScr-K and it would go back to proper resolution, or on reboot, it goes back to proper resolution.
Please close this bug, as the beta release solved it. I have the 10.04 RC CDROM too, but have not tested that - I assume since I apt-get update && apt-get -y upgrade regularly, there should be no difference between what I have installed from the beta release and the RC version? -- Ubuntu CD starts in low resolution graphics and cannot using 1680x1050 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508276 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
