There is a known bug in libparted < 2.0 where it doesn't work with
devices (disks) that have a logical sector size > 512 bytes.
The version of libparted & parted in Ubuntu 10.04 ("lucid") fixed this,
but gparted still needs to be tested with such devices, and some code
needs to be fixed & tested. GParted in 10.04 and later will also not
try to handle a disk like this anymore, unless we have tested
functionality & think it can handle this.
