The Amazon MP3 downloader can be made to work in Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit) by simply downloading and installing the needed libboost 1.34.1 Jaunty packages from packages.ubuntu.com. I also had to download/install libicu38_3.8.1 from the Jaunty package archives.
