Ubuntu goes to great lengths to provide localised interfaces and this
/is/ ultimately fixable, just passing "client=ubuntu" has solved the
issue for the Firefox chrome interface search/address bars.
It's not an apparently artistic decision.
For the moment, I'm assigning it to myself as a place-holder.
