Renate, can you please open a terminal and type the following command:
apt-cache policy thunderbird mozilla-thunderbird enigmail
and post the commands and output to this bug
Also can you please open a terminal and type the following
apport-collect 570375
that should add more info to the bug report that can help us in finding the
problem.
Changed to thunderbird as source package since we use it now and the
<Lucid releases should get latest as with firefox,
