Upstream developer Cosimo Cecchi marked the bug as 'Won't Fix' and gave the 
following reason:
"You can restore files by selecting some of them and choosing "Restore" from the
context menu, or selecting Edit->Restore from the top menu.

I don't think restoring *all* the contents of the trash is such a common
operation to introduce a new button in the top bar, so closing as WONTFIX."
I think I agree with Cosimo Cecchi; people rarely want to restore all the files 
in the trash, it's not worth the trouble and the clutter of the extra button.

If you want to restore all files you could always use Select All and
then Restore.
