Hi everyone, Please mark this bug as affecting you rather than commenting about the workaround - we know that manually unloading the module or adding SUSPEND_MODULES="xhci" fixes the problem, but this is not the correct solution. The XHCI driver either needs to have suspend implemented, or Ubuntu's suspend scripts need to handle this for us automatically in some manner.
There are potential problems to having this module unloaded in this manner - for instance if you are using a USB 3.0 hard disk you wouldn't want to unload the module manually while you had a filesystem mounted with open files! -- XHCI (USB 3.0) kernel Module Prevents Suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522998 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
