Update: I just chrooted into the system and did a "apt-get upgrade" after a 
apt-get update"!
After a reboot the following error comes up:

mount: mount point /proc/bus/usb does not exist
mountall: mount /proc/bus/usb [395] terminated with status 32
mountall: Filesystem couls not be mounted: /proc/bus/usb
fsck from util-linux-ng 2.17.2
/dev/sda1: clean, 143498/14917632 files, 17009922/59639296 blocks
