Yeah man, it is still happening. Actually it happened twice today, really annoying, especially because it's a headless server. I'll run the apport, but I won't be doing the other stuff as it is a production machine (hope you understand). I can't reproduce this on another machines as I have no exact hardware copy of it. In any case I'll be updating the machine to lucid once it is final, so that's in a couple of days away. Things could be different then (for me). Only scary thought is that the connection could drop during the upgrade process (maybe upgrade with usb/cd ?).
