Binary package hint: ubiquity
using ISO dated 27-apr-2010 Ubuntu 10.04
Installing inside windows (wubi) after successfully booting, a screen
saying: "No root partition defined" appears and install can't procede.
using liveCD for full installation - After selecting custom partitioning
my /dev/sda is not displaying (I have 3 SATA disk in ICH10 in normal IDE
operation, tried AHCI same thing), but I can see /dev/sdb and /dev/sdc
Using LiveCD and executing ubiquity same thing.
checking with gparted I can actually see and format /dev/sda so this is
definetly an ubiquity problem.
Tried on another machine with just 1 disk (Q9550 + ICH10) SAME THING.
This seems serious, almost less than a week for Ubuntu 10.04 and I can't
install this on either my machines (never had any problems previous to
10.04).
