I've found in my case that there is a hardware fault on the motherboard, an Asus A7M266D, whereby two of the three 32-bit PCI slots have some kind of problem. I originally tried the FastTrax TX2000 in those slots since there is a SATA controller in the first. When I swapped things about I discovered the SATA controller also disappeared.
I then compared using another A7M266D motherboard which performs fine. Once I get time I'll do some more comprehensive checks to be sure the hardware fault is the cause of this report and if so close it as Invalid. -- [Lucid] pata_pdc2027x: Invalid PLL input clock 0kHz, give up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561619 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
