Hi Robert,
It should be as simple as rebooting the machine. if you reboot and do a
uname -a from the terminal, it should tell you what you are running. In the off
chance that it doesn't boot the correct kernel, you can hold down the shift key
while booting to bring up the grub menu that will have a selection of kernels
available to boot from.
