Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: transmission
Potentially a duplicate of Bug #505861 or one of its duplicates, but I
think this could be a separate issue.
The add torrent dialog initially suggests $HOME as the save location,
until the full Transmission UI has finished loading - at this point it
knows about $HOME/Downloads and suggests that.
The issue here though is that this can take enough time that I can add
the torrent (usually forgetting to check what the suggested save
directory is) and this seems to work, the add procedure and dialog is
not blocked by waiting for the full UI / the configuration.
Optimally I'd like the add dialog to read the configuration without
waiting for the full UI, and I'd like the add UI to be blocked or not
loaded until the configuration is read.
