I'm afraid that there is nothing I can do about this without the
requested log file (/var/log/installer/syslog) from the original
reporter. If you (the original reporter) can reproduce this bug with a
current release and can get me the log files, feel free to reopen this
bug. (Anyone else reading this who believes they have a similar problem
should open a new bug instead.)
I'd also recommend trying a newer release (6.06.1 or 6.10), as many
installer issues were fixed there.
