In our case stack at: cp: `/var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.ttyS0' and `/etc/hylafax/config.ttyS0' are the same file dpkg: error processing hylafax-server (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
We've managed to reconstruct Hylafax server but the apt-installer is stack at that point and not sure even how to force it to believe is installed. We believe the issue has to do with the bind mount that hylafax does of /etc/hylafax into /var/spool/hylafax/etc, we've noticed the init.d script does not umount it correctly. In any case the script seems to copy files while installing in reverse way from etc at /var/spool. If the hylafax was already installed and that directory exists (if its bind mounted it can no even be deleted) could be causing errors. -- package hylafax-client 2:6.0.3-2ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520239 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
