I'm afraid I might need a little help with this. I ran
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
and then created xorg.conf in /etc/X11, consisting of the following
lines:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Device0"
Driver "radeon"
Option "EnablePageFlip" "off"
EndSection
But after restart, Ubuntu started in low graphical mode and asked me to
return to the previous configuration.
aplay -l gives:
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 0: ALC889A Analog [ALC889A Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 1: ALC889A Digital [ALC889A Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: HDMI [HDA ATI HDMI], device 3: ATI HDMI [ATI HDMI]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Could you tell me what parameters I have to use in xorg.conf?
Thanks and sorry for the beginner talk.
