Changing my connection to Open DNS solved this issue. Just searched "DNS
to Open DNS Ubuntu" and found the proper instructions. Don't know how or
why but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

I am getting a similar error. I upgraded to Lucid today and when trying

to login to facebook remotely via Gwibber, it fails at the "remember me"

authorization and then hangs.

Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:

What I expected to happen:

After logging in to my facebook account successfully, I expected my
account to be added to Gwibber.

What happened instead:

After logging in (successfully) to my facebook account I was told that
my facebook account had been authorized. I clicked on the 'add' button
but nothing further happened. I waited several minutes and nothing
changed. I repeated this a few times over, and then filed this report.
