The problem is that there's no evidence that those bugs have even been
seen or evaluated by the appropriate personnel, despite being clearly
ubuntu installer problems that result in file system corruption and the
loss of data.  Bug 19119, for example, managed to go over 2 years
without being addressed, despite being confirmed at the time by multiple
people.  Bug 568183 has also been confirmed by multiple people, yet it's
still marked as 'new' and still has not been assigned to anyone.

If this bug *does* have the attention of the appropriate personnel, it
would seem that a 3-sentence reminder is reasonable to let them know of
the existence of the others.
