First boot: OK Subsequent reboots, whether into the same kernel or another one, setting the MAC address to 00:00:00:00:BD:D1 Reset by complete power off (at the wall or the back of the PC case). Incidentally, I installed the mainline kernel 2.6.34-rc5 and it handles the MAC address correctly again.
