OK, that was a mistake. The advice is bad. I do recall seeing the same thing, 
but I already knew to ignore it. Maybe you should register a bug that the text 
is misleading. At the very least, the 'install to partition' option should be 
buried within an 'Advanced users only' button.

So, basically what happened is when you installed grub to your windows
partition it pooched windows.

Anyway, first try oldfred's advice - I think he said you may have to do
it repeatedly.
