Hello,
Well,I don't know what to think. This bug can be closed because it is
workin now. Anyway, as of today suddenly everything magically started to work
the way it should (e.g. : arecord start to record sounds, I could here my voice
with some sound application such as skype or openwengo). I really don't
understand what happenned. I just know that a couple of days ago I upgraded to
kernel 2.6.20-12-generic. There is also quite a few updates which took place
but nothing with the alsa packages. So, I really don't understand where was the
problem.
For the record, I have the alsa-base is version 1.0.13-3ubuntu1,
alsa-utils is version 1.0.13-1ubuntu5, libasound2 is version 1.0.13-1ubuntu4.
