This works completely fine for me, please try the following on an new empty
document:
Insert a hyperlink
Right click on the hyperlink -> go to style -> uncheck underline
Highlight the hyperlink -> go to Font Color button on toolbar -> switch from
automatic to black
Where does it break down for you?\
