I've only just realised that I had (somehow!) unselected my only account
(Twitter) and then couldn't send messages. It seems to me that if you
only have one account, either the ability to unselect that account (in
the 'Send with:' section) should be disabled, or the status box should
be disabled if you have disabled all your accounts.
