Hmm, so it's hanging trying to run one of the target-config hooks from
casper, I think. This could well be a bug I fixed in casper 1.79 in
Feisty:

  * Send casper-reconfigure error messages to stderr rather than stdout to
    avoid interfering with debconf.

To confirm or deny this, could you please run the installer using 'kdesu
--nonewdcop env UBIQUITY_DEBUG=1 ubiquity kde-ui' from a terminal window
(sorry for the awkward command line; it's much easier in Feisty ...),
reproduce this bug, and attach the resulting /var/log/installer/debug
and /var/log/syslog to this bug? Be careful to use an unimportant
password rather than your usual password, as when running in debug mode
even the password will show up in the debug log. Thanks in advance.
