Public bug reported:
Motherboard D945GCLF with video card ATI Radeon HD (PCI) set as primary
video card (can't disable the Intel onboard video in the BIOS).
Connected to an LCD TV via HDMI cable.
Trying to install Kubuntu 10.4 from scratch. The system boot, I can
select keymap and language, then when I select to install Kubuntu (or to
run the LiveCD), it reboots almost immediately. When I play with the
options, I get to see some dmesg for a few seconds until it freezes.
I apologize for not being more specific at this time. We've just
relocated and the box was unpacked from the box with a damaged system
drive, so I tried to reinstall. It used to work well with 9.10, however
the last time I installed Kubuntu from scratch on that machine was
before adding the Radeon HD video card.
