I can confirm this bug when printing a note & exporting it to a pdf
file. Exporting to .html keeps formatting intact

I applied the updated package from -proposed
$ apt-cache policy tomboy

I can now confirm that the formatting (different levels of bullet
points) is preserved when printing a note & exporting it to a pdf file.
I can also confirm that exporting to .html still keeps the formatting
intact.
