So, there are lots and lots of errors from your hard disk in those logs;
it looks like either the hard disk is dying or the kernel can't drive it
properly. That's the root of the problem.

The installer bug here is that we don't notice an error exit status from
partman and do something about it; instead we just merrily carry on and
try to install into the live CD's ramdisk. Of course this results in
running out of space ...
