I have the same problem, Facebook first wouldn't sync. I then removed the Facebook account and tried to add it again. Now i can't add a Facebook account. I have recently upgraded from Karmic to Lucid Lynx. Tomorrow I will do a clean install of Lucid Lynx and see if I have the same problems.
