I have VIA PN800 card.
Reproducing error: System --> Prefs --> Desktop Effects --> Enable.
* glxgears works with wrong (shifted down) picture
* glxinfo output: attached
* glxinfo stderr says:
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x46
+ * xorg.conf edited, installer did not recognise card as via
+ * several options added to xorg.conf to enable dri, possibly
+ something is wrong.
