I had this bug on 9.10 too. I just updated to 10.04 and the bug is still
here. The progress bar never moves and cannot be used to skip forwards.
But the timer does work and the player does advance to the next song.
I don't know what you meant by providing "updated logs" though. I don't
know where Rhythmbox's logs are ...
FYI, the bug repros very consistently for me. I haven't found any song
where the progress bar works.
