Sorry to say, I made sure the headphones worked on u-know-what O/S. Just trinary problem reduction.
I upgraded to 10.04 but still can't get there from here. I CLI'ed the System->preferences->default sound card and got: ~$ /usr/bin/asoundconf-gtk sh: /usr/bin/asoundconf: not found You need to make sure asoundconf is active! By default, asoundconf's configuration file is ~/.asoundrc.asoundconf and must be included in ~/.asoundrc. Open this file to make sure it is! ~$ The interface seems to be recognized, cause when I plug it in I get: ~$ cat /proc/asound/modules 0 snd_atiixp 1 snd_atiixp_modem 2 snd_usb_audio ~$ But I can't seen to see the USB in gnome (screen shots attached). ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-Sound Preferences-1.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47033663/Screenshot-Sound%20Preferences-1.png -- USB Headphones/Mic used to work until one of the automatic updates failed it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571501 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
