Public bug reported:
During the boot-up process of Ubuntu 10.04, an error message appears on
the boot screen (just below the "ubuntu" logo and below the blinking
white/red dots). However, another message with instructions on how to
proceed appears exactly on top of the error message, making it nearly
impossible to read the error message.
This bug is about the two messages overlapping. See attached
screenshot.
This bug occurs both when using the Nvidia proprietary driver, and ALSO
when using the free nvidia driver. It seems unrelated to the driver
used by X.
