I have the same bug (I think) using Ubuntu 10.4. Using WLan the kernel crashes every time I start pidgin. I did not have this problem using ubuntu 9.04, I also do not have this problem using wired LAN. I am using the following WLAN chipset:
0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02) In pidgin I use XMPP, ICQ and Bonjour. The problems seems not to occur in empathy, where I use the same protocolls. -- [karmic] Kernel Panic with: iwl3945 + wpa_supplicant + Bonjour [on Pidgin or Empathy] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/436576 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
