I would like to propose a Lucid SRU for this bug. Since the current
build of psimedia makes psi (as well as psi-plus) crash when trying to
make a voice call the package psimedia is currently more or less
useless.
The only change being applied is a bumped version number, forcing a
rebuild against an actual Ubuntu environment. I have a very hard time
imaging possible regressions.
TEST CASE:
1) Make sure you have psi 0.13-1build1 and 1.0.3-3 installed.
2) start psi from the command line
3) Right click on suitible contact and select "Voice Call"
4) When pressing the "Call" button, psi crashes, writing the following in to
the terminal
psi: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/psi/plugins/libgstprovider.so: undefined
symbol: _ZN9QHashData13detach_helperEPFvPNS_4NodeEPvEPFvS1_Ei
Now repeat the same steps with the patched version of psimedia (1.0.3-3build1).
When you this time press the "Call" button you'll either get a Voice call
established, or a Connection refused.
Attaching a debdiff against lucid-proposed
