I have similar problems on my Lenovo S10. Before I installed UNE 10.04, I had ArchLinux on my machine. ArchLinux with kernel 2.6.32 had problems with KMS but a black screen was not the result of every resume and a not responding system could be restarted with Ctrl-Alt-Del. With Ubuntu 10.04, Ctrl-Alt-Del does not help anymore. I have to halt the system by pressing the power off button. After a restart, the network is disabled, which is not the case if the system had been shut down properly. Could this show something about when during the resume the system hangs?
