Thank you for your attention on ##gnome i have got the message: for evolution ldap is known not to work very well I use LDAP often and evolution on imap works better then thunderbird (faster) I looked into the bugs you mentioned, before I sent mine and is a some points different. I wonder if you can escalate the bug to gnome so we can rise the importance of better LDAP integration.
