Alex, This bug has appeared only after the version 5.0.391.0 of the daily builds. The above mentioned is the latest version without the bug. The version (5.0.342) in official lucid repos is way much older and does not have the bug. This bug has already been reported upstream: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=43013
