Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 10.04 eclipse started to crash after doing:

When editing Java code
1) using ctrl + space to open code complete to fill in a method to a known
object.
2) this opens up a list and a browser popup showing Javadoc.
3) when this code complete helper popup loses focus eclipse crashes without any
warnings

Only information I can see is this on the console after crash:

The program 'Eclipse' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 28100 error_code 158 request_code 148 minor_code 7)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Eclipse worked fine before upgrading to 10.04.
I also tried to update eclipse but that didn't help.
